How we work
Five phases, typically four to six weeks. Slow enough to be considered, fast enough to ship before the world moves on.
Discovery
Week 1We start with a conversation about your business — what you do, who you serve, what you want the website to achieve. I review anything you already have and audit your competition. The output is a short written brief we both sign before any design begins.
Direction
Week 1–2I design a typographic system, motion language, and one creative direction tailored to your business. We meet, debate, refine, and lock the direction before moving into production. No surprises later.
Design
Week 2–3Every page is designed at every breakpoint. Photography direction, copywriting, and content structure happen in parallel. You see the work as it evolves — not at the end.
Build
Week 3–4The design is engineered on Next.js and TypeScript with a custom content model configured around how your business actually works. Every commit ships to a staging URL you can share with stakeholders.
Launch & Support
Week 5+We launch, watch the metrics, and ship improvements. After handover, I stay on call for the small things that come up — a new section, a content update, a performance tweak. Most clients work with me well beyond launch.
